The food was excellent!
We order crab cake as entry...It was just one for each of us,but it was delicious!
My husband ordered steak Gorgonzola and I order traditional lasagna.....no words..they were just great!
Desserts: Tiramisu and chocolate cake........wonderful!
We happen to live in the area and went to eat there a day and time with no too much traffic, so the outdoor table was a great choice!
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsZ Bhardi is an Italian restaurant located off Thomasville Road. Our delight at finding veal on the menu turned to disappontment as soon as we tasted the sauce on the veal dishes. You could not escape the heavy taste of flour. Only two ravioli came with each dish. The mixed vegetables were average.
Serves us right for avoiding the noise and hectic hubbub of chains like Outback and Bonefish. More often than not chains are often your only choice in places like Tallahassee.
Traffic noise at the outdoor seating was much too loud. Our party opted for outdoor because we did not find the indoor seating romantic as reported by other reviews.
We may go back and try the lunch menu.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is just a great all around restaurant. It may be a little hard to find the first time, but it's well worth it once you do. The inside is not spectacular to look at, but it feels homey - probably because it once was a house. There is a regular menu and frequent specials too. If you like real Italian food (i.e. not Carrabbas) or would like to try some delightful twists on Italian cuisine, this is the place to try. The food is excellent. It's real, wholesome food, not a bunch of processed or pre-packaged manufactured "food". The service is friendly and professional without being stuffy - you can certainly be casual here. Lastly, there is a beautiful outdoor eating area for an al fresco experience you will tell your friends about.
