Absolutely the best seafood in the area! My father is extremely picky about the freshness of his seafood since he was a commercial fisherman. I generally don't eat seafood unless he caught & cooked it, but we both make an exception for Angelo's. The atmosphere is great. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. It is always our family destination for Father's Day and my Daddy's birthday.
best seafood anywhere: When I was growing up, Angelos was the destination of choice for any special occasion. My grandparents, George and Rachel McMullen from Tallahassee, were such regulars, "Mrs. Angelo" knew them by sight. They are both gone now, but I have wonderful memories that center around the tables there. My daughter's first experience face to face with a crab was at Angelo's. I thought the lady across the aisle was going to choke she laughed so hard. Everything
they serve is wonderful and most is caught by Angelo. That's what I call fresh and it has spoiled me. Their homemade feta dressing is habit forming and the portions are always generous.
Angelo's may have suffered damage from the hurricane, but they plan to be open again this summer (June 2007?) we hope. The greek-style broiled flounder and deviled crab are calling to me all the way in Virginia. Cant wait to get back there and eat at my favorite table next to the water. I will also be having the salad with greek trim and decaf coffee..............I am glad somebody else will be driving I will be too full to anything but sleep. Come on Summer!
