User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe visit St. George Island every couple of years and used to visit The Hut at its old location. We were sorry to have seen it destroyed and were quite suprised and happy to see it up and running at its new location in Eastpoint. This location appears much brighter and is more updated, but still has the same selection of local seafood and reasonable prices. Service is always great and the portions are more than ample. A good portion of the food is only offered fried, and I do wish they offered grilled entrees (shrimp, fish, etc.). Still a recommended option as there is little else in the vicinity at this price range. Great for families.

When Hurricane Dennis destroyed The Hut, we were all really sad... The new location provides great tasting, fresh seafood at a very good price... Fast, friendly service... We appreciated the warm welcome as soon as we entered the door... I'm so happy that The Hut is back in business... Cannot wait to go back ! By the way, this place is not just clean, it's really, really clean...

Great seafood & good service. I miss the view from the old building in Apalachicola but the food is just as good at the new restaurant in Eastpoint. We eat here every time we stay on St. George Island & have never been dissapointed.
