Have a 2005 kia sorrento. Am taking it in again for the 4th time to have the brakes fixed. Even though they can't seem to fix it, they have the nerve to charge me labor again for their mistake. I would never ever bring a car there to be serviced or even buy a car there as their service department is clueless and they just really don't care. Stay away from this place
First off let me say that I own 2 kias and I like the cars. Where my problem lies is with the service dept here in Panama City. I went in to have a clutch replaced on my Sorrento, two weeks later, yes I said to weeks later, after wrong parts were received and just lacksydasical errors were made and I had to wait for my vehicle to be finished we were sacked with a $950 repair job. But I was told, and I quote "We didn't make any money off this job and we even put a discount of $85 on the final price." I WAS NOT AWARE THAT $500 IN LABOR COSTS CONSTITUTED NOT MAKING ANY MONEY. Next time I need any work done, it certainly won't be from Bill Byrd Kia of Panama City. Unless you are looking to be raped on price and without your vehicle for 2-3 times longer than a repair job takes I would highly recommend you GO ELSEWHERE. If you are ready to be taken advantage make sure you go and buy some lube first because they will overcharge you heavily and not prepare you for the outcome, which will hurt!
Call Dane - he made this whole transaction totally easy and trouble free - he worked with me on price and came in at a reasonable cost. I have never bought a car where the whole transaction was so easy and stress free. We are delighted with the vehicle and the service. I will definately go back.
