Be careful going to this place they will rip you off. I took my vehicle to this location for a brake inspection. They inspected plus made them not work anymore. Then they preceded to give me a quote for repair of $1500. I knew I needed a brake job on the rear but the quote all 4 wheels, lines and a ABS control. Luckly I came to my senses and took it to someone I trust for half as much.
My truck was at this location for 9 hours, they did not fix my problem or even have an idea of what was causing the rough idle and hesitation in my vehicle.I was promised a call by early afternoon but got none. I called them twice and finally drove up to the location at 7pm. The employee at the counter told me I would need to have 10 different things replaced to see if that fixed it. I asked for my keys back and when they tried to charge me for the diagnostic test I asked for a manager. The manager was the rudest, most unhelpful, unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He screamed, talked over me and at one point put his finger in my face and leaned forward in a threatening manner. I felt very unsafe in his presence at this point and had to step outside to contact local police. When they arrived the manager told them I was attempting to leave without paying and threatened him. Both of which were very untrue. Do NOT go here they terrible!!!!
They broke my transmition and 4 wheel drive! I went there because my BRAKE light was on, even though my brakes felt fine. I was on vacation. Two days before I went there, I took it to 2 different mechanics - oil change, brake check, tire tread check, test drive, everything. But this Pep Boys told me I needed an oil change, my tires had no tread and new ones, my brakes were bad, the list goes on to $1300, and I only approved of $300 worth of repairs. And their service fees are OUTRAGOUS! They charged me $150 for brake pads when it usually costs up to $80. They charged me for warrantees without asking me if I wanted them. I called 1-800-PEP-BOYS and filed my complaint, never got the call "in 48 hours," so I called back to find that the manager of that store said that I admitted there was "a pre-existing problem." Now, the BRAKE light is still on, as well as the 2 back tires lights and a red CHECK light flashing. The assistant manager mocked me when I told him that the brakes were fine before I brought it there, and before this assistant manager drove it. Worst customer service ever!
