FIRST OF ALL. THE REVEWER WHO WROTE ALL THE NEGATIVE STUFF IS A DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE. INSTEAD OF WRITING REVIEWS YOU SHOULD BE CLEANING AND NOT SMOKING ON THE PORCH. DON'T LET THE BUILDING SWAY YOU. WHEN YOU GET IN AND MEET THE PEOPLE INSIDE YOU WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. IT IS AN OLD BUILDING. I WAS THERE WHEN THE BOARD OF HEALTH MADE ONE OF THIER SURPRISE VISITS. THE LADY CAME IN THE KITCHEN DOOR. THE FIRST THING SHE SAID WAS THIS IS THE CLEANEST AND MOST ORGONIZED KITCHEN I HAVE BEEN IN. LIKE I SAID, THE PLACE IS OLD, BATHROOMS INCL. BUT THEY ARE CLEAN. THE VIEW OF THE LAKE IS WORTH THE TRIP. BUT AS A REGULAR, WHEN THEY ARE CLOSED,WE FIND OTHER PLACES TO EAT. THE FOOD IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE SKI INN. SO HEADING TO PANAMA CITY OR TO I-10,STOP AND HAVE A BITE. RIGHT ON COMPASS LAKE. SIT ON THE PICNIC TYPE TABLES ON THE PORCH AND ENJOY GREAT ONION RINGS OR HAND MADE HAMBURGERS.

is good to sit and watch folks on the little lake.: dining outside is best. just be ready to for all who work there coming out to smoke while you eat. food is ok for price. everyone is quite friendly.

DIRTY!!!: Would not recommend, this place is really nasty. Over priced for what you get. The lake side part is nice if the food was good and the place was clean.
