User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI just ate at Cancun's Mexican Grill in Chipley, FL - ordered the 2 cheese enchilada with shrimp, beans and rice dinner plate. There were pieces of shrimp shell hidden in the beans and sauce; one of which I choked on. I only ate maybe a 1/4 of my meal when this happened. The shell got stuck in my throat and left me unable to finish my meal. I explained what just happened to the waiter. Since I could not eat this meal â I had already found two shells; one of which I choked on, there was no telling how many shells were hidden â I asked for the meal to be taken off the bill. The waiter took the plate away then came back to say it will be taken care of at the register just to let them know. The heavy set blond woman at the register said she was the owner and at first refused to take off any of the price of the meal. She said that shrimp came with shells even if the meal was supposed to have shell less peeled shrimp and even if these shells were in other parts of the meal where they donât belong. Even though I was unable to eat but very little of my meal most of the food still on the plate and we are regular customers she said it was not her problem that I could not finish my meal but would consider taking off 1/2 price She could care less rather or not I choked. According to her it was my fault not hers. I will not eat there again, even though the waiters are nice.
