User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI ordered the supreme gyro with extra meat and cheese. I guess they thought I meant extra lettuce because there was a small slice of meat and a sprinkle of cheese with a handful of shredded lettuce filling the whole thing. My sister got the bbq chicken gyro and it was so rife with sugar she couldn't even eat it. Plus, it seems wrong to pay $24 for two little gyros and two orders of fries... Plus it took them almost half an hour to throw some lettuce in a pita.

I have been eating gyros from this cafe since I was a child (I'm 29yrs old now)and it was formerly located in the Panama City Mall. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the people who run it!!! I haven't lived in Panama City for quite a few years now, but when I am in Town I always stop by for a great meal. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe've been eating at the Gyro Cafe for over 10 years, I think. Seems like forever. It's wonderful. The gyros are delicious and prepared right there in plain sight. And the curly fries are great too. Yum!
I think they open early for lunch, which is convenient when you're traveling from, say, Apalachicola or Port St. Joe, which are on Eastern time (an hour ahead) and you're hungry at 10:00am Central time. (been there, done that.)
All in all, it's a great, inexpensive place to stop by for a pleasant, delicious lunch or dinner!
