We love this place. The staff is great. The music is great. The food is AWESOME! Best place in Pensacola--PERIOD!
Really, a great local place to go for GREAT drinks and a GREAT view. The menu has a lot of things to choose from, although I think the prices are a little high for a few things, like the signature "Grits-A-Ya-Ya," which shouldn't cost the restaurant more than $4 to make (listed for $20). But they ARE fabulous, so I guess if people like me keep ordering it, that's what they'll charge :) Sushi is great too.
I've been to many special events or group meetings here, and have always been impressed. Enjoy a cold beverage, listen to a local band and take in one of the great treasures of Pensacola.
I don't think this place deserves such rave reviews. I had pecan crusted fish, and expected something other than what I got...a fried fish filet with absolutely no taste. The steamed vegetables weren't bad, but I was not impressed with the grits, which is supposed to be a specialty. Not that it matters, the hush puppies were dry and unsavory. I will say the atmosphere is nice, the wine list is adequate, but I'm not sure it would be enough to get me back.
