User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI have to admit, I ate at this place on 2 other occasions and awful was too good of a word to describe it! Over priced crap you'll wait an hour for is what the menu should have read but the entertainment was great! Some old man screaming at the employee's in front of the whole diningroom.
Then we found out Chef Bill from the old Beachcomber's Restaurant on the Cape was cooking there so we decided to try it again since their food was always good. WOW! What a change a GOOD Chef makes and we think the old owner of Beachcomber's was there helping cook. The service was great, awsome food, great prices and just a friendlier place to eat. The entertainment was a guitar player on the deck, and I'm pretty sure he is the same guy that played at Beachcombers.
Maybe this place is finally on the right track so I'm planning on going back again. We're going back to find who made the turnaround and if it's the old Beachcomber's guy. Finally a place for locals to go and have a good, reasonable meal.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe go to Port St Joe/Cape San Blas pretty regularly. We were excited to see a new place. It is slow season I understand but we went on a Saturday night. We were the only ones there.
The decor was nice. The deck and outside were very upscale. When we opened the menu we were both disappointed. No fried shrimp. VERY OVERPRICED. From 16.95 (Chicken Parmesan) to 25.95 (steak). We opted for the burger cause it was 9.95. All the staff were hanging around the bar chatting. They brought our food. Crappy curly fries and an overdone burger. Then we got the bill. They were 13.95 not the price in the menu. At this point I was just ready to go. I really don't know how they will stay in business. What a bummer.-

WOW!!! RECENTLY WENT TO THIS PLACE... AND FRANKLY I WAS IN AWE!!!!THE FOOD WAS ASTOUNDING AND THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL!! THE DECK AND THE VIEW WERE BEAUTIFUL AND THE MANAGER WAS SO NICE WE FELT RIGHT AT HOME.... THERE WAS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT ON THE DECK AND MY WHOLE FAMILY ENJOYED IT..AS DID EVERYONE ELSE. IT'S NICE TO HAVE A PLACE TO GO TO ON THE CAPE WITH GREAT FOOD AND SUCH A LAID BACK UP-SCALE ATMOSPHERE. A MUST TO TRY..

My advice would be that if YOU want a $1 MENU GO TO A FAST FOOD PLACE..MY FAMILY AND I GO HERE OFTEN THE FOOD AND SERVICE AND VIEW ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY. THE CHEF ALWAYS ACCOMADATES OUR REQUEST FOR FRIED SHRIMP ECT.& THERE ARE DAILY SPECIALS LESS EXPENSIVE.
