I was never able to get anyone from internet sales to sell me an Escape. I had to order it through AFEES military cars sales. I had it delivered to World Ford. When it arrived there was some confusion and paperwork issues. The manager wrote me two or three times telling me they only did this as a Curtice. On my invoice I was charge $250. for delivery.
I find it hard to believe that Curtice cost $250!!!!! No wonder car dealers are in trouble.
Just bought my first Ford from here, and I absolutely love it. The dealer(Dennis) was so helpful to me in making sure everything was perfect. Even after I bought the car, he still makes sure that I still love it as much as the day I drove off in it. Would definately recommend this dealership to anyone!!!
After my experience with World Ford,and Ford Motor Credit Leasing of 135,000 dollars worth of new Super Duty junk. I will never again get a fleet of Ford trucks for our business. I have finally reached the breaking point with these Ford trucks. They are not built Ford tough as they claim in their commercials. These trucks start falling apart at 20,000 miles and they then turn into money pits right after 2 years when the warranties just run out. The sad part is that one of these trucks did not even have 100,000 miles on it. You can't get a local Ford dealer to fix F650's without a very long wait. If they have the 5.9 cummins motor in them, it only gets worse. Their sales staff are also so eager to sell you these Ford vehicles to make a profit but also pretend they are doing what they think is in your company's best interest only to find out later that they locked you into a deal you will only regret later and it affects your personal credit as a garrantor.
Then comes Ford Motor Credit, their staff and call centers are designed to harrass you if your 3 days late or more. When your current, They will tell you that your 2 Months ahead on your payments.
My advise... Don't finance thru Ford Motor Credit. Find another source if you can.
Then there comes Ford trucks customer service in Dearborn, MI. You can call or e-mail all you want, but when you call and ask to speak to someone in charge, they redirect your calls to another department who knows nothing or won't let you make contact with the staff near the President or Vice president of Ford. You can never reach a Big Wig at Ford Motor Co. I really don't think they want to speak or listen to ordinary people who buy their products. Their return e-mails must be generated by computers instead of humans because they always seem to reply with the wrong answers to my questions. It can get very fustrating dealing with the Ford Motor Company.
I guess if many consumers like me had to go thru all this, then why should we buy a Ford?
