The sauces are wonderful!I agree witrh the person who said with each bite it's an explosion in your mouth!

This restaurant is outstanding in ambiance, culture, love.
The food was made fresh to order free from preservatives no MSG, the chef personally came out with a hot steaming bowl of Panang and rice because he had heard that was my favorite Thai dish.
I have eaten there on four different occasions during my visit to Destin , from Green curry with beef, Tom kha gai soup(this soup was so wonderful I put it on rice after I ate the solids and had just broth left), Yum beef, deep fried Shrimp spring rolls ( the shrimp was so moist and flavorful), Fresh spring rolls with crisp fresh produce so artistically placed in each rice paper with a sweet red chili dipping sauce,( my new favorite) and to many more to list. Yes I consumed so many wonderful dishes the best Thai cuisine I have ever had in my life.
Every savory morsel I consumed was a explosion of flavor,I could taste every different spice and herb used in each dish .
The Thai Basal fried rice danced in my mouth, the freshness and multiple ingredients did one thing for me MORE!
I'm response to the following review I'm sorry you must have dinned at another Thai restaurant No where in this establishment is there a buffet. Everything is made fresh to order!
I rate the Royal Orchid in Destin Florida a 5 Star because
I have dinned at the Royal Orchid Thai cuisine this is not buffet style dinning , This establishment is made of the hearts of a Family from Thailand who loves their culture and food enough to share with all of us its very best!

It's a very bad restaurant with a verybad service.It was good once upon a time, when they addded buffey to thier lunch menu problems started to roll on...bad food...bad service....try avoiding the restaurant if u can...

I think by the responces received that you would be in a very small percent that had anything unfavorable to say about this establishment. my family and myself eat here everytime we are in the area and have never once had any service that would even resemble bad. maybe you were expecting grits and fish sticks on the "buffey" .....
