Worst dining experience we've had in Destin in over 20 years of visiting. Went for an early dinner at 4pm in the afternoon. TS Claudette was supposed to arrive around midnite so even though the wind was normal and no rain, the Mgr had ordered all of the windows shut. The Crab Trap just down the road had its windows open. It was very warm, the ceiling fan above our table was broken, and the flies were everywhere. There was a hair stuck to the dirty condiment tray on our table. We asked if we could open the window and were told no. We (there were 6 of us) complained about the flies and lack of any type of air movement, no offer was made to do anything about it. Finally asked to see the Mgr. who reluctantly moved us to another table under a ceiling fan. The flies followed. Food arrived, there was a hair visibly sticking out between the meat and cheese of one of the burgers. At this point one member of our group left the restaurant. We called the Mgr over who offered nothing other than "do you want another cheeseburger?" That was it. The waitress was apologetic but the check reflected no concessions and the Mgr never came back to see if everything was ok. It was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Will never go back.

Big disappointment. My wife and I went on a Wednesday night in July around 8:30. The wait was about 1 1/2 hours. The food was bland and cold. NOT at all worth the wait. We have far better seafood in Louisiana. Nice to be seated by the beach though.

Lousy cold food, lousy service. We waited 1 1/2 hours to even get into the restaurant. Once in there we placed our food order. We were told it would be another 30-40 minute wait for our food. So we ordered Queso and Chips. The queso was cold. I asked for warmer queso. The next batch was only slightly warmer. Our food finally arrived and it was cold. Figuring if we sent it back we would be there until midnight we just ate what we could. As we left I asked for the Manager. We seen him over flirting with a young girl. He was paged. Finally he comes over and starts talking to his employees. I walked over and said Are you the manager? he said YES. I told him about our food. He said you should have sent it back. I said we figured we didn't have enough time left in the night to get it back.It was obvious he could have cared less. I left saying "Well I thought you needed to know we won't be oming back" He shrugged his shoulders. In today's economy why waste your hard earned money on places like this. the Crab Trap right down the street had exellent food and service. We plan on eating there our final night here. It's a huge difference in Management staff at rab Trap. They care about their customers.
