The problem with this place is that it is family owned. Not all family members will be at par with the other. I went there today and the youngest Ivey told me he'll look at my car later on today.. My girlfriend showed up to keep me company and we waited. We waited awhile, specifically 3 1/2 hours. I then asked another gentleman how long it'll take. He responded by saying tomorrow. I was outraged. I asked to talk to a manager and he responded by telling me he's going to get the younger Ivey's dad. Daddy then told me he is sorry if "I misunderstood" but his son told him that he told me he'll look at it tomorrow. I gave him a good piece of my mind and asked him why did he think I've been up here so long with my old lady when we could of driven off a long time ago. He didn't respond to the question and said sorry buddy and walked out. If you're thinking what a bunch of Ivey jackasses your right. DO NOT BRING ANY CAR UP THERE. Horrible, unprofessional establishment. Poor Grandpa Ivey was the only hard working one out of the group and he is retired.
Being a female, you can expect the typical stereotypes at OTHER garages. One local shop wanted to charge me an astronomical amount to fix my car. They were knowingly adding parts I didn't need. I called Bill at Ivey's and he set me straight. I should've went with Ivey's to begin with, now they have ALL my business and I highly recommend them to my friends.
