    We live about 1.5 hrs away and this was our first experience with San Destin and Fudpuckers. I am really suprised to see all the complaints but I have not eaten at all the fancy restraunts surrounding the area either only a few. Our wait was not that long but I think they do that on purpose so you shop and look around while waiting. I had the parmesean grouper it was ok but not bad. My dad had the seafood platter nothing special but again not bad. Husband had steak he said no problems and my kids had pasta and fried clams. The balloon guy made the kids both a motorcycle and a horse and my mom a rose. That was awesome be prepared to tip big. Our waitress could of been alot nicer and made the experience better but whatever. If going for the kids then I would say no regrets they had a great time ohhh and bring your own pen or marker to sign the wall they have a policy not to hand them out, that upset me considering there is not a spot on the wall that does not have writting on it. It gives the place character. Food was decent for that kind of atmosphere if wanting suculant and gourmet this is not the place, try McQuire's Irish pub its awesome kids loved it to.

    Excited to go, then when our food came.... might as well went to grab fast food. It was not restaurant quality food, nothing special, tasted as if my hubby opened up frozen food and popped it in the microwave. Service was service, do not fall into their colorful ads and what may seem to be magical experience. I had burger and hubby had pulled pork and we also had appetizer that was for happy hour for like 3bucks, tasted like it was food from airplane. DO NOT GO HERE if you are expecting an excited time with your kids, think twice and keep driving to Mississippi and eat at a chili's in the middle of nowhere.

    The food was mediocre, and overpriced. The environment was fun for the kids. They enjoyed the baby alligators.
