It was the worst chinese buffet we have had the food was cold and had been sitting for quite some time it was not a good experience
I visited this place tonight and itâs not really that bad. I mean, the place stays open until 10:30 p.m. during the week in this sleepy little town so you can get a fairly descent meal if you know what to look for. The little Japanese girl, Yuki, who was my server, never let an empty plate sit on my table and she always had a big smile. There were a few tables occupied. The table in front of me had a nondescript Asian man; there was an obese couple with a speech and physically impaired adult female, a âred neckâ family, a single Indian man, and me, a single white male. Later, another Asian couple came in. When I noticed that one of my favorite items, the vegetable egg foo yong was out, the cook made up a fresh batch in just a few minutes and the mama-san came over and told me it was ready. Boy, was it good. The cold squid salad may not be for everyone, but if you enjoy something fairly authentic than you will appreciate just how good it was. The squid was wonderfully tender, the spices just right and all was just very fresh. I also have a fondness for won ton soup, and here the noodles were just great. Thereâs a little secret about hole-in-the-walls like this and that is the oysters on a half shell. You can go to the fancy places and pay through the nose for a few oysters or you can just go here and chow down on all the oysters you can eat. These are the same oysters and just as goodâ¦ummmm. I donât know how the Chinese make their chicken wings, I think they put some ginger in it or on it, but I love to get the chicken wings at a Chinese buffet and these were up to the task. Oh, there are a few items on the buffet tables that have been there a little too long, so just stay away from them, like the sushi. Iâm not too sure I want to eat what they had out. Iâm stuffed and there was plenty of good stuff to choose from. All that for $11.40 plus drink and tax. Not a bad night.
SICK!! YUCKO IN ONE WORD! The staff appear not to like Americans and stare at them while cleaning. The food sits out too long. Sometimes they do not run the A/C and still serve food in the unbearable heat. All they seem to care about is getting the most money they can without any customer care.
