Rhodes Auto Repair

Recently, a friend of mine had his older car stolen. A month later, it was found by the police at Tom thumb on Main Street in Destin. Well, he went by to pick it up and the tow truck operator for Rhodes said, (paraphrase), You have to pay me $225 in six hours or I am going to start charging you for storage. So my friend gets his car stolen, it is ripped up inside, and was never called by the police to come pick it up. They call Rhodes, and, being concerned citizens, decide to take advantage of my friend by charging him for picking up his car that he didn't leave at the Tom Thumb, but was stolen and abandoned. I understand you have to get your costs if you are called to tow a car, but this is taking advantage of someone in an unfortunate situation. Rhodes also said they would take it further if he doesn't pay. My friend doesn't want the car and said keep it. Rhodes said, we wil still charge you and go after you for non-payment. Really? I will tell everyone I know what great Americans Rhodes are and will tell this story to everyone I can. I know alot of people here in Destin and the business he will lose is more than the $225 he is trying to take from my friend.

overpriced: I prefer not to be overcharged for work on my car. My family has taken all our cars to Destin automotive for over 30 years. Ken's prices are not only lower, he is trustworthy!
