I visited the Toyota team of Quality Imports. My visit took place on Aug 21, 2009. I called 1.5 hours ahead of time to have my Lexus lube, oil, and filter service. The Cashier, Clinton and Assistant Service Manager, Mr. Jason Mickey accomodated my request. I was in and out within 1 hour.

Had older Prius w/alarms lit up, took it there for appt. for $100 estimate. We waited & waited, 6 hours later they need $500 more to give the so called estimate. We asked what if it was a battery and they said yes, could be another $2K but it was taking so much time they needed the extra 500 to diagnose. We demanded car and learned from their paperwork, it was on the rack less than 10 min. They refused to turn car back to us, we had to call managers at home. Hubby went home & read up on diagnosing & repairing Prius on internet, it cost him $24 to diagnose & repair it himself. Recently went for another model, was given bait & switch routines, wasted hours there, then they demanded the car offer paperwork to make a copy & came back 2 min. later & "said" they had shreaded it & gave me his business card. Salesman & Sales Manager were JERKS!!!. Do not waste your time on this dealership. They try to jerk people around instead of focusing on pricing and getting people into the car of "their own" choice. Also, even it you get a car called a demo, I would ask for the car fax in case it was pre-owned.

Unfortunately I just found out about this website, but my incident happened about 2 years ago. My husband brought his Tacoma in to the service department to be looked at because it had ran funny earlier that day. When he brought it in, it was running fine, but he wanted to be sure nothing was wrong so he asked them to check it out. And believe me they did, they took it for a test ride of 4 miles and then put it on the rack to be looked at. During this time, the mechanic slung 2 (NOT JUST ONE BUT TWO) rods in the engine. When they called me to tell me it would be approx. $7000.00 to repair it, I couldn't believe it. They broke it and want me to pay to fix it. They did offer a 25% discount (HOW GENEROUS). When the owner of Quality Imports heard about our situation, (through a mutual friend of ours), he asked them what happened. Apparently, I came into their place and started cussing and carrying on. Since, the owner believed his people and never talked to me or my husband, I decided to not waste any more of my time on this. I have left this situation in the hands of God, and I now pray for them.
