If its this bad before they get my money, what would it be like after?

Worst motorcycle shopping experience in a lifetime. The owner is an unconscionable thief. The sales staff are dishonest (even for sales staff). Don't buy your metric bike at Streits.

I agree. This place is totally lame. I mean everyone should vote with their money, even so now when money is difficult to come by. I do hope people take these comments in account before going to this "professional" place. I know that it is the only one here in Gainesville,Fl but travel a little futher down for better service. I went there a few times, but usually for Lube for my chain, which I now dont go there for even that. Anyhow I went there to ask for a trade value on my SV1000s because I wanted a new Yamaha R1 or a Honda Fireblade, I was told by a hispanic gentalman that he didn't want to waste his time if I weren't going to buy from them. How lame is that. Keep in mind that it's not even busy there. As he told me that I made it a point to tell him that I have money and I will buy where service is best, and I wasn't worried about paying a little extra for better service. So long story short I took more of is time because he was an ass, and still when to daytona where it was cheaper for an R1, and way better service. I got a Yamaha R1 with slip-ons,, pazzo levers, and power-commander, etc. for just 5,000. where Steits Motorsports was 8 to 9,000 and HORRIBLE SERVICE.
