I love this place, cheap drinks, the right level of trashiness, clothes not required, and right on the beach. You can sit back with your friends look back on the beach and meet people. I don't know what this guy below me is talking about but he needs to get the stick out of his fat ass so he can stand up, go over to the bar, let somebody know he hasn't been helped and enjoy the evening. great SB spot too. and as for not lasting, umm the dock has been there for years

I would have rated The Dock "No Stars" if that had been an option. It was "karaoke night" on Monday. We got there about 8:45, because the show was advertised at 9. We sat at a table and NO ONE ever greeted us, came to the table -- nothing. No one acknowledged our presence. The KJ started setting up a little after 9 and we left at 9:20 when he still hadn't finished setting up, as it looked as thought the show might have gotten going at 10 or so. There were employees present, just kind of goofing off, and it seemed like there was no management there. A "while the boss is away" attitude. I was astounded that this valuable beach property was so poorly staffed and so poorly trained! I was going to spend the evening at this establishment, but ended up spending zero dollars here. They will not stay in business long with this poor level of service. Apparently, a person will have to go off the island, or at least to another establishement to get decent service.
