The Katie's website is hosted by Teleflora, which advertises it's own corporation products and designs.That's not promising the florist they host carry their every product. Every florist is allowed to pick and choose what company products they'll carry based on what they think they can sell. In truth, Teleflora's fine print dictates their florists are to do as simliar design as possible and substitution is allowed--based on each individual florist's personal inventories. Sometimes, this means container substitution or flower substitutions, though the general color scheme and design shape will be maintained. Teleflora/FTD's products are, of course,so vast, no single florist could possibly stock all their stuff. For happiest results, here's a good rule of thumb: when you find a picture you like on Telefora's website, call and talk to that florist. Find out what they have and can do. Keep in mind specific kinds of flowers can often be ordered if you place your order at least one full day in advance.
Yes, and the price of gas is hitting everyone in the pocket big time.

This florist is superb. Love the quality of the arrangements and the store manager is such a great designer.

I have tried Katie's twice and have been disappointed both times. I looked on their website to get an idea of what I wanted to buy, printed out the item on the webpage, then brought it in to the store. Both times they tell me they do not have the vase and several of the flower species, so they had to substitute. The flowers were not out of season. Quite the opposite; the arrangements I found corresponded to the current season. Why is it on their website then?! They substituted less expensive flowers but only adjusted the price to me slightly. The store is clean. The employees are somewhat helpful but less than courteous. The prices are too high. I will go to Florals by Michael next time.
