I think a lot of people make fun of Chili's because it isn't quite as fancy as TGI Fridays or olive garden. It doesn't have to be fancy because it's Mexican.
They have 24/7 2-4-1 drinks which is a bonus. I love their baby back ribs, probably the best barbecue in gainesville.
I have had problems with the service here, sometimes it could be more attentive. Luckily the lazy waiters don't seem to last long.
The 'ritas here are good, but not as good as the margaritas at Margaritaville. Jimmy Buffett is not just a great musician, he practically invented the margarita.
The chips and salsa are a great deal, but the salsa can be too spicy. Watch out. I like how this place has a little bit of everything.
They don't have jack sauce here, which is a shame. Also they don't have the mini burgers like at applebess. You have to make some sacrifices though becuase the mexican food is goo, but I don't think their chicken quesadilla is any better than the one at applebess.-

Good Food, Loud Atmosphere: Great burgers and now they have several types of yummy baby back ribs (Carolina is my personal favorite!). The kid's menu is more extensive than in many restaurants, so that's always a plus! The grilled Caribbean is really good. The only thing negative I can say about this place is that it's always so noisy I can barely hear my husband speaking to me from across the table. Other than that, my family and I always enjoy eating at Chili's.
