very gville: great price, service, & quality. best pad thai & thai tea.
don't always open on time. they take a while, but that's to be expected for a low volume & small place that puts time into quality. if you want production line, ya, go to a chain or a place that uses frozen / packaged food.
Awesome - Wait is fine: The guy who complained about the wait is an idiot. All over the resturant are signs saying that if you are in a rush go to Chili's. Finally a resturant where you can sit and not feel rushed by some high schooler trying to get rid of his tables. There is one cook, Tim, and the food is made right after you order it. Your waitress is his wife, and she is awesome. The food is so good and surpasses most places in Gainesville. My girlfriend and I like it because you can bring in your own bottle of wine. She brings you glasses and an opener. So yeah, it might take a little longer but this place is worth it for people that want to relax and want to eat some great great Thai.
a long time favorite: The curries and traditional Thai favorites ( royal pad thai etc ) are excellent. The ingredients, especially the vegetables, are fresh. Plus it's byob without any "corking" charges.
