User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsAlways great food, excellent variety, great steaks and seafood. The wait staff seems to be a little slow, and they are young, and inexperienced. I literally had to ask everytime I needed a refill for tea, and then had to wait 5 mins more.

People always talk about how good the food in Gainesville is, even tho it is such a small town. There not kidding. We have a TGI Fridays, Outback, 2 Beef O'brady's, Chilis, Cicis, HOOters, lots of Pizza Huts, a Bennigan's (RIP) :'-(, and most importantly, an APPLEBEES. I call it my local neighborhood applebees becuase that's what its like to me. It's too bad its on 13th street which is kinda in the ghetto. I try not to leave my local neighborhood around archer road unless I'm going to classes at UF. Too bad the food at applebees is so good that sometimes i just have to go there. Normally, when I'm in the mood for mexican food I usually get a mexican pizza from taco bell, but the chicken quesdadilla at applebees is even better!! Sometimes when my friend and I are feeling naughty, we get there frozen alcoholic drinks. They have a cool tropical theme and make me feel like a pirate in the caribbean. All in all, applebees is the best restaurant in gainesville, much better than the over prices food in downtown gainesville.

I dont think it's too much ghetto, in is right on 13th. The service is really slow though. Other than that, it is pretty much my favorite place as well. Fajitas are always great!
