User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe only gay nightclub in Gainesville. UC offers up drag show performances on Thursday and Friday nights. Saturday nights offer DJ mix for dancing. The crowds are mixed and the club welcomes anyone.
The bartenders are all extremely friendly and fast to provide your drink. Drinks are moderatley priced, as compared to other local establishments.
The building itself needs a bit of updating, but during the past year changes have been made and more are expected.
Special events are held during the year, more information is usually posted on their website.
I recommend the Univeristy Club to anyone seeking a safe and fun night out.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy first Gay Club Experience!!!: This was my first experience at a gay club, and let me tell you i've NEVER had so much fun in my life. The drag queen shows are crazy and the enviornment is very interesting, but its cool. It can get crowded at times and secerity is really tight. But if your under 21 don't forget to pick up your licence at the enterece cuz they keep it until you leave.
