| About: | This small, family-owned eatery is generally considered to serve some of the best Cuban food in Central Florida. The prices will please even the most budget-conscious diners. Start with an appetizer of fried eggplant, stuffed potatoes or a Cuban Tamale. Entrees include Red Snapper Catalana and Cuban Beef Stew. Homemade rice pudding makes for a pleasant end to the meal. With all this wonderful, inexpensive food, you can easily forgive the ho-hum decor, which consists of a few hanging plants and pictures of Cuba. |

Of course I give Rolando's 5 Stars. I work on the East side or Orlando and I drive to Casselberry almost every Friday to pick up lunch for me and many of my co-workers. There prices are good and the food is AWESOME. I haven't had anything yet that I can say was just "alright". I would recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE. The staff is nice, friendly and make you feel at home. Keep Rolando's open and visit them in Casselberry, Florida.
My wife is Cuban and we have eaten at Rolando's quite a few times. Although we enjoy their Lechon Asada Con Yuca (Roast Pork With Yuca) very much, most of their other dishes are just so-so and not as good as we can make at home. There service is also just average as is the atmosphere. But, good Spanish food of any kind is very hard to find in the Orlando area, despite the influx of Latins. We are from Tampa and the Spanish food was much better there.
Fantastico! The fresh bread is soft, warm, and full of flavor. I enjoyed the cuban sandwich and black bean lunch special. My meal was served quickly and tasted great. I couldn't resist vanilla flan for dessert and left very satisfied. The meal including dessert and tip was less than $10.00 The waiter I had never offered drink refills or inquired how I enjoyed the meal. The dishes being presented to other diners at my table got high praise.... I definitely will return for more great Cuban food soon.
