User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAfter renting from Mr. Lusnia and Homestyle Realty, I find it hard to ever trust a realtor or landlord again. I'm sure there are a few good ones still out there. When I filed a complaint to Codes Enforcement, I was told that Mr. Lusnia was on the Codes Enforcement Board. Shame on you Robert jd Lusnia and Homestyle Realty. You give the industry a bad name.

I too have found out the hard way, dealing with this guy(Robert jd Lusnia). I was a renter for two years. I'm taking him to court. Any and all folks who have had bad dealings with this guy, please contact me. I'm sure a judge would be glad to hear about what he's been up too, and getting away with. Respond here, and I will send contact details.

Mr. Lusnia was very difficult to deal with. Rarely got anything in writting(real estate needs to be in writting), and slow to act. Seller has not instructed on what was needed to sell the home, they signed the contract without understanding what their part was. They were missguided by him and it made the home unsellable to us. We were informed by a few people that it would be hard to buy from Homesytle Realty. Complete waste of our time.

You should be glad you didn't inquire about renting from him. I have relatives who were renting from Mr. Lusnia and the lease was in total violation of the state laws for renters. He never repaired any thing but wanted his rent on the day it was due. His rental units are falling apart and need many repairs. He is nothing but a slumlord. Don't Buy or Rent from this man!!!

Justice, luckily I read your review before being stupid enough to deal with this man. I thought it to be a bit fishy when I requested that he please fax me a copy of the lease so that my husband and I could look it over before giving him money. He told me he didn't work that way and refused to let me even see the lease until I paid him a security deposit and application fee. I found that to be strange enough to tell him that I wouldn't do business with him if that was case and he said fine. I then researched it, and found these reviews! This guys bad news and he's got more than 15 available rental properties right now. I dont know if that can be any assistance to your court case, but I wish you the best of luck with it and if it does help great!
I live on a property which borders a property which is listed by Homestyle. When they decided to clear some of the trees off of the property that they are selling, some of the debri was pushed into my yard! Even more infuriating, Bob was not very kind when I called and even screamed, What do you want me to do about it? He was very rude, I assume because I am a woman. he certainly sang a different tune when my husband called him a few moments after he hung up on me. Do not do business with him!
I know about debri on his property. I've spent two years cleaning up and hauling trash piles off the place I rented from him. The only thing Mr. Lusnia ever had repaired on the property was a water pump. And even then he didn't go with the recommended type of water tank. For two years I could not get him to make repairs on his place. When I refused to sign a third years lease,They are trying to keep my deposits(and trying to charge me with repairs on a home that should have been condemned before I moved in. This calls for further investigations. I'm open to hear from all who have had unpleasant dealings with this guy and his company.
