| About: | Don't look for the latest in chic European cuisine here. Instead, expect traditional Italian favorites lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients. The decor is typical of neighborhood Italian eateries; paper napkins, silk flowers and wine bottles on the tables. The food, however, is anything but typical. Feast on Chicken Cacciatore, spicy Grouper Fra Diavolo or the Fettuccine Bruzzi, baked fettuccine served with mushrooms, meat sauce and melted cheese and end a sumptuous repast with the ever-popular tiramisu. A carafe of house red wine is also available. |

The food was only average, but the restaurant was quite, and the service was excellent. All in all, a very nice place to go for a quite evening when conversation is more important than what you order to eat. I had the grouper and my husband had the shrimp. The portions were a little small, and my husband remarked that he thought the shrimp were previously frozen rather than fresh. He loved the garlic sauce, but had a little heart-burn later.
Reminiscent of a home cooked, traditional Italian meal. Although my portion was quite small for the price (I had the Italian combo) my companion was satisfied with the size and value of his meal. Although mine was small for the price, the flavor was very good. A small, unassuming hole-in-the-wall type place where the grandmother walked by several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
wow wow wow fantistico!!: Very traditional family style Italian restaurant. You can meet the grandmother from Italy, the mother from Italy, the father from Italy. Great people, great food. The cannellonis, when a special of the night, are delicious!! Everything made from scratch.
