the food is good. cant argue with that. but the place is dumpy and the staff is sleazy & unprofesional. they told us the buffet was 16.99 but got charged 24.99 with a entertainment fee. drinks are way overpriced. the show was like a pg rated strip show with a cowgirl bouncing around in a bra and mini skirt. the service was slow. I got to listen to wait staff outside complaining about being stiffed for tips. very unprofessional. i dont want to hear about that for dinner. the place was not to clean. there was a dead cockroach in the middle of the bathroom floor. food=good. service=bad. i would not go again.
I moved from central FL in 2006 and I miss the terrific foods on the buffet. It has been my favorite restaurant since about 1996. I moved to AZ and I haven't found any restaurant remotely close to Ali Baba. When the clientele of Middle Eastern origins frequent a restaurant that tells you you're eating in a great restaurant. Who could be a better critic? Whenever I get fly back to FL, this is the first restaurant I go to and often. Eddie has been the server for many years, he's very good at what he does. He's a wonderful guy. THE BEST! I GIVE THIS RESTAURANT TEN STARS.
ONCE AGAIN! Great FOOD, GREAT SERVICE and a UNIQUE Nice PLACE! The most wonderful food I have had in a restaurant. Food is authentic and tasty, could not have been cooked any better by my Persian mother in law! Beautiful Mosaics everywhere and the tastiest food around. If you are not familiar with Middle Eastern foods this place will help you decide what you really like by sampling in small amounts various dishes. You can not find this quality food on a buffet anywhere that I have found. Service was great also, our waiter was friendly and joked with my kids. We have been to Ali Baba probably 25 times in 2.5 years, it is one of our favorite places when we want a treat and have relatives stopping in from New York. You will not be disappointed, it is a nice restaurant.
