We always bring our out-of-town friends and family to The Frosty Mug. It's so unique and it's in the heart of downtown Mt. Dora. In the evenings, we'll head upstairs to the Viking Lounge; there they offer cigars, a live pianist, and a place to sit around and relax. Kind of pricey, but worth it.

Good food, lots of beers: This restaurant is in the basement, and the decor is dark and dungeon-like but it fits the food and drinks perfectly. The food was out of the ordinary but good, and they offers several unique beers from Europe. Service on a Sunday afternoon was great, but the place was nearly empty. A quiet place to rest and have good food and drinks after a lot of walking around Mt. Dora!
