We looked for this place for a year before finding it through GPS. What a find! The food is great. We eat out a couple times a week, so we know good food out. Just can't make Prime Rib like this at home. The service is wonderful - but the food is even better. The Prime Rib is juicy and tender. Oh, the Cucumber Salad - I can just taste it now (or wish I could). It is perfect. We have taken several large parties there and the service was slower - but we had 25 people so what do you expect. I prefer parties of 10 or less when going here. July is lonely since Emmy is out of town for the month. She is back now and we are on our way there tonight!! Can hardly wait for good Prime Rib. Disney has nothing to compare with this Prime Rib.
I have gone to Emmy's TOT now for the last twelve years. I have never had a bad meal, matter of fact I had nothing but first class food, and great service. Everyone is always happy to see us, and many other people are experiencing the same. Yes, sometimes it get's like a zoo in there, specially on German day, but patience and happiness does not hurt regardless what restaurant you are in. The Golden rule exists. As for the food, Penny is a wonderful chef, and if you are lucky that you get some of Emmy's special creations you know you have died and gone to heaven. All of her service personal are first rate and work very hard. So bring some time this is not a fast food restaurant this is a place were things are cooked for you. And a little tip for those who are enjoying their food, when Emmy comes up to you to see how you are doing and how the food is, simple response to her question with an Emmy, Emmy, Emmy chant and she will grin from ear to ear.
I apppreciate everyones opinion of this restauant. I personally have a different opinion. the food was over priced, the food was cold, the service was less than desirable ( although our waitress was working her tail off) with two waitresses argueing in front of My wife and friends. when I mentioned the lack of service from an obviously over worked waitress, she graciously appoligized. When i mentioned that the food was not up to par, I was told that the chef wasn't feeling well. No offer of a refund, dicscount, or a future free visit. None of our group finished our meals. The waitress was very gracious but obviously upset with the other waitress that was giving her grief. My opinion is better to pass on this old run down building, and spend your money elsewhere. It is expensive, and not quite worth the pricey fee you will pay.It smells very musty and the rest rooms (mens) was a disaster. I would give it an 4 out of 10.
