It could have been better or much worse: First, my GPS was convinced that this place was located half a mile down the road. This was a bad start to the meal.

So we show up as a party of 18. No problem as they were able to get our "large and loud" party seated in a few minutes.

To make matters worse, we didn't sit in family groups. That meant that the servers had to keep tickets straight for people sitting in what appeared a random manner. Again, no problem.

The food wasn't bad, for the most part. I may have been the only one at the table who didn't like his or her meal. I ordered fried shrimp. It is hard to go wrong with this one. I think they used a cornbread batter that I disliked.

Having said that, everyone else enjoyed their selections. And, I didn't "hate" mine--it just wasn't my favorite.

The coleslaw and hush puppies were great.
