My favorite place around without a doubt. The food is unbeatable, great ambiance, and the beer selection is amazing. If you want an enjoyable evening, this is place is for you.
i visited O'Keefe's with a friend the first time in August 2002 on the recommendation of a chess-playing friend of mine who had visited there several times in the past because his wife's aunt lived in Eustis, FL. I was delighted with the quaint and romantic atmosphere, with the wide selection of beers, and with the availability of chess boards to use for playing a game while enjoying lunch and beers. The waitress was cute and perky, the service was excellent, and I have no complaints. I was especially impressed with the mugs hanging on the wall for members of the "Mug Club."
I visited again two years later in December and was again very pleased with food, service, and amenities.
I have recommended O'Keefe's to others who venture to Disney World in nearby Orlando. I would add that on that visit I made a trip through Mt. Dora which was especially beautiful and decked out for the Christmas season.
We went on a Thursday Night and there was no one there. They charged outrageous prices for food and drink. The Bartender by far was one of the most snobbiest I have ever met, He saw some people come in and complained about them not tipping him 20% last time, so he ignored them for 15 mins. and then questioned me about my tip. Save your Money and go somewhere else.
