User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI agree that this zoo might seem small & boring compared to all Central Florida attractions but for little ones is a great place and the new splash park makes the visit worth ( to a 4 & 1 1/2 y/o that's heaven)We get the yearly pass that's also good for other zoos across the nation, and while Jacksonville & Miami Metro Zoo are fantastic (and free with CFZ passes), we are still loyal to Central Florida Zoo, maybe it's time for the local government to support the zoo so they can compare & compete with other attractions.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starswhen i went to the central florida zoo ( school feild trip ) i had a blast but there wasnt that much animals. at least i had a great time thats all that matters and if u go there u will lke it to and go and write bout cuz i want to see whats next

We have been going for years, They have come a long way since the day when I was a kid. The animals are kept in an environment much more condusive to natural living in comparison to the days on concrete floors and bars they used to have there.
My children enjoy the learning center and the bug center. The only thing I would recommend is bring goodies because the zoo is lacking on a restaurant or easy access food. The one food stand they do have usually has a long wait and not so tasty stuff.
