| About: | It's good to focus on vegetables once in a while and when that's the focus, this may be the restaurant. Platters of meatless meat dishes are served here, substituting potatoes, tofu and other earthy goodies for animal flesh. The space is bright and clean, boasting hardwood chairs, starched white linens and white curtains. Try the Sweet-and-sour 'chicken', or the Fried 'shrimp' which is actually potatoes. If you like your vegetables to taste like vegetables, sample the veggie-stuffed pasta dumplings or the Portobello mushroom sandwich. |

I'm a vegetarian and have not eaten anything resembling Chinese meat in YEARS. I went with 6 other people to this restaurant and we ordered 8 dishes (we wanted to try as much as possible and have leftovers - 2 dishes were the same though). I LOVED everything I ate. 6 out of the 8 people there were omnivores and also loved what they ate. One person said the "meat" there was better than real meat. I got to try orange chicken, sesame chicken, general tso's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, curried chicken, shrimp and chicken, and steak. Absolutely amazing.
Good vegetarian food; yet, NOT a family-oriented restaurant. Went out for dinner with my husband and toddler and was NEARLY asked to leave their premises. One of the owners approached our table and rudely reprimanded us over one time that our child voice was heard above the other patrons. They have lost our business ever since.
Interesting restaurant housed in a converted old Pizza Hut building. I like what they've done inside. They offer a lot of meat substitute items. "Chicken, beef, pork, fish, duck, etc," and some more natural vegetarian options. I tend to like food in its natural form much more than in these processed forms. The soup had good flavor but I didn't eat the "chicken." The veggie dumplings were not wonderful. The veggie/tofu dish was adequate, but not wonderful; very greasy. We might consider an occasional visit, but this won't be in our regular rotation.
