I wrote reviews almost 2-years ago at age 61, and now at age 63, I am writing again.
Yes, "any store" can have a bad apple employee now and then, but all-in-all, the Orlando Sam Ash store is great.
I have never met anyone there that was not friendly and professional to me or my teenage son. I get great deals and buy a lot of musical equipment, to include: guitars, guitar accessories, Amps, drums, drums accessories, audio equipment, and even harmonicas.
SO, PLEASE IGNORE THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS, AND CHECK OUT THIS STORE FOR YOURSELF, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
By the way, over the years, I have seen a few rude customers, and the Sam Ash Staff and Managers were always polite and professional with them too.
Like I said, check it out for yourself.
The staff are rude and not helpful. They ignore you until it is time to pay. The only reason why, I continue to go there is due to the warranty on my instrument. i had to call the corporate office to get some type of action. More than one occasion they have been rude and nasty when I asked a question.

Well it does not matter if you agree or disagree. The customer service there is terrible. The staff are rude and unhelpful. This not only happened to me but, other parents in my childs class. If you look a certain way then you get certain service. When my warranty is up I will look to other stores to purchase another instrument. I personally have several instruments( Piano, 2 flutes and a trumpet) that I purchased in New Orleans and Atlanta and never had issuses with C/S. I have said this before that this lack of customer service is the normal treatment for certain people in Orlando and all of Florida.
What have you got against Orlando or Florida? I think that Tom is right, and I've been going to this store for a few months now and have had a good impression. Usually, rude people get bad service (hint hint).
Addendum: There are two Sam Ash stores in Orlando area. One on Colonoal Drive and the other on Lee Road. Both are "excellent" 5 Star rating stores with customer service. I usually go the Colonial Drive store, which is closer to my home.

Well I do believe when several parents from my Child's orchestra class had the same experience with this company. So much so my child's teacher who has been teachig for over 20 years adviced us not to purchase from them, because of his bad experience. I have been extremely nice when paying $500 or more for a violin, I should get quality service. They are rude and give bad service to certain people. I have nothing against Orlando or Florida if you like lack of common sense and rudeness. This was my experience and several other parents in my child's Symphonic orchestra group with this company. This was to the point where we purchased other violins from another competitor and recievd GREAT service. My first impression on the telephone from the gentlemen from their C/S person who had a British accent, he gave me wrong directions. Then when I got there I was ignored and given the wrong info on the warranty. The service was so bad I called the owner of the company. But,I do not have to deal with them anymore because bought another violon from someplace else. Maybe the comments are from people who work there!
No, both stores are AWFUL! I have no idea how this company is still in business. AVOID!!
