About:This hideout, called Aka Lounge, is more like a private watering hole where you can groove to tunes from the mixer while sipping on Red Bull. Brick walls, high ceiling and no-fuss interiors with steel piping give the bar-cum-dance-club a neglected look. Since few people know of its existence, the crowd mainly consists of regulars. The stage at the end of the main room comes alive with performances on weekdays. Listen to Drum and Bass, Trance, Dub and other underground music on weekends. Alternatively, try your hand at a game of pool or darts.

    Lovers Of Art(Poetry): Sunday nights are off the hook with poets. Its a nice place to hang out especially if you love poetry and guess what its open mic so if your a poet and you got something to recite go ahead check it out!

    AKA Lounge: I had the pleasure of visiting the AKA Lounge on Sunday nite. I must say I didn't even now O-town had a spot like that. I went with Bestfriend and it was great. Good people. Good Music. Good fun. I must say I will be joining them again. 2 Snaps for the open mic session. Meet some cool peps. Grooved to some tight beats. For those young or ol school I highly recommend. This young brotha Daniel Nelson set it off. I put one of his poems on my page...check him out cause he has a book of poetry.
