This place is wayyyy off! i went there today and this was the first time i visted the store and there was just something not right about this place...just on how it looked and the puppies were sad and had empty water containers and it was dark and dirty looking not to mention the puppies had no toys in the cribs...and all the peope ..now that i have looked at these horrible reviews WOW, my intuitions were right on!! i felt so bad for those puppies and wanted to buy them all just to get them out of there but i couldnt even afford one! Mann i wish there was something someone could do!

I just purchased a mini dotson (Sigma) a week ago today from the puppy spot. A friend suggested that we go there and look at some pups. When i saw Sigma i was immediately attached and bought him right away. Usually i don't do things like that. I for the most part do my research, but he just stole my heart. Now Im on this site and see all of these horrific reviews and i can't do anything but think about my pup. I took him to this Dr. Kim already and he claims there is nothing wrong wit my lil fella. I believe that he has a cold of some sort, but Kim says its normal. The day before we took him to Kim he had blood in his stool. Kim said it was because we had changed the pups food. Before i even went to that vet it had crossed my mind that he could be getting paid under the table by this puppy shop to say that the dogs are ok. Now after reading all of these reviews i definitely believe that is the case. Im so worried now about my lil man because i am so attached to him now. Im up at 3 in the morning writing this because all i wanna do is take him to a different vet asap. One thing i do know is that if so much as a fingernail fall off my pup, the puppy spot gon have some real serious problems. I already plan on going to demand my paperwork that they claim will come in the mail and take some kind of action because it is so heartbreaking to read all of the stories about these puppies.

Hi how are you? I understand your frustration see I'm the owner of the Blue nose you see up above and let me tell you the same thing happened to me. There is a Vet on 436 in Casselberry called the Animal Hospital. I love this vet! they're so awesome they do cost $5.00 more on their visit fee but the first visit is free as long as you call them 24 hours in advanced if you would like the telephone # please get ahold of me I would love to give it to you. I really enjoyed taking my dog there she recieved a infection in her teets and they gave me propper medication quick, I haven't had any problems since I've been taking her to this vet. My puppy has come a long way with all her problems and alls we can do as owners is love them with everything we got. Don't count on getting the papers!!!! When I sent mine out I got a letter back stating they don't register puppies and when I confronted them I was on the phone with them for 2 weeks trying to find the proper paper work.... their copies. I wanted the breeders information because you can register your dog anywhere as long as you have the breeeders in formation. So Ask them for the breeders information Guarantee you they "lost it" I hope the best for you and your puppy.

Hi everyone my name in Cher and I purchased a Blue Nose American Pitbull Terrier from The Puppy Spot in April of 2008. When I got my dog I noticed she had diarrhea and was coughing I was told I had 48 hours to bring her to the vet when I did I was told she had internal parasites. Dr Kim who I feel is an awesome vet by the way put her on two types of Medication. It didn't seem like no big thing due to the fact she was getting better. By August I was forced to take her to the vet again because she broke out in what looked like chicken pox this was a BIG deal I found out she had a Bacterial infection on her skin and I was given medication, and special shampoo to bath her in. It took forever to get rid of, I had to go back four times to get a renewal on her medication. By the time January rolled around I started noticing a bump the size of a marble on her right hip. She started jumping up on me to relieve the pressure off her leg and was crying. When I went to the vet again I was told she had what was called a Lymphoma which is a known to turn cancerous after 2 months of not being treated. The vet did a emergency surgery on her it also seemed fine they told me it shouldn't come back or spread anywhere else. They put her on Rimadyl which is a anti-inflammatory. The stitches were supposed to be in for only 10 days before the 10 days was done it swelled to the size of a golf ball. I brought her in again and she had a liquid build up, which also required a emergency surgery again. All I have to say is that I bought a VERY SICK puppy. I love my RZA with all of my heart and I want nothing but the best for her. When I went to the puppy spot they were very nice and even lowered the amount to buy her but now that I've almost owned her a year I realized they didn't lower anything i've spent over $2,000 on getting her better and believe me it wasn't easy my husband and I lost a lot of work taking turns to watch her because we were afraid to let her out of our sight. I have just recently had another problem with my dog. She has also got an infection of the teets. Which means her teets bleed randomly! This is not easy having to watch my dog every two months have a problemn and have to force her to take medication, every since the time I've owned here. To me it's just UNREAL how a puppy can have THIS many problems in less then a year of owning her. I really hope they get their act together because this is wrong. Animals and people should not have to go through so much pain and suffering. I would also like to add since 04/23/08 I have been trying to recieve my papers for my dog. Her (registration)papers that have not come in yet still. They lose all of their paperwork concerning registration so don't count on getting them every.I really hope everyone here learned something from me and my experience because I'm on here telling you what I went through with my puppy and I don't regret getting her either she is my blessing. I also posted a picture of her at the right top corner it says Good Luck.

you are right. it is UNREAL that these puppies can have such problems. i can't tell you how much money and time i've spent at the vet treating both of the dogs I got from the puppy spot (one died, i got another as a "replacement" only after i threatened litigation). it doesn't seem like this should be lawful. obviously, all these dogs have issues and no one cares for them. they are lucky to be bought by owners who care. good luck with your dog.
