Cinedome - Orlando Science Center Business Overview

Edit Info

Company Information: This glistening structure, highlighted by the dome of the John Young Planetarium, looks like the product of a meeting between Greco-Roman architects and Star Trek engineers. The analogy applies to inside activities as well: the museum strives to teach kids (and adults) about classical science using modern, hands-on, sometimes high-tech activities. With 207,000 square feet, the museum houses 10 themed exhibit halls where patrons can explore the human body, modern technology, the solar system and other topics. Its eight-story CineDome is billed as the world's largest movie theater. It shows large-format nature/technology films.

What a delite! We had read some bad reviews and were hesitant on going; but with the weather not going above 50 degrees and windy, we decided to give it a shot. Good decision. We went with our grandchildren and our daughter, so our ages went from 7 to 68. We all had a great time. The kids had a ball with the interactive exhibits and in the Kids Zone. They learned so much and had a good time doing it. The Titanic Exhibit was very good and our guide (in character as an Irish emigrant) was very informative. There was so much to do and see that we are going to have to make it a "must do again" next time we are visiting in the Orlando area.

orlando science center: The science center is a great experience for all ages. I have 4 children ages 11, 7, 4 and 8 months and we all enjoyed! Food is pricy but where isn't it?
