   MoreFamily Promise of Baldwin County is a homeless shelter program with transitional housing for homeless families with children. It is also an Interfaith Hospitality Network, consisting of fourteen host congregations and six support congregations who provide safe, secure sleeping facilities, meals and hospitality through volunteers to homeless families with children. Family Promise of Baldwin County is the only place in our county that shelters homeless families with children. It keeps them local rather than sending them to a facility in another county and it keeps families together rather than separating parents into different shelters. It allows children to be maintained in their original school and transportation is provided to and from the home school of a child experiencing homelessness. Less
