About:For over fifty years, this family operated Orlando joint has been a local favorite for the freshest and the most delectable oysters. Warm and welcoming smiles of the counter staff, give just another reason for visits; but the amazing mollusks, crab cakes and oysters have been unanimously rated the best in town. Moreover, the prices are pretty low and you can just go on devouring the varieties not just because they are tasty. Equally cheap is the beer served here, best to go with the seafood. Special prices, lower than usual are offered during anniversary bashes, which is when the place is crowded.

First opened in 1950 as a nine stool establishment which only served oysters. Now has their 80 ft shucking bar where you watch the staff hand-shuck your oysters while you wait. This is an Orlando institution that should not be missed even if you just barely like oysters. Oysters do not get any better than this. Only world famous Lake Appalachiacola (that's a mouthful) oysters are used and they are brought in almost daily packed in ice. Also beer, wine, clams, crab, fish, shrimp.

Been living in Orlando for 17 years and yesterday was my first time going to Lee & Rick's. All I've got to say is OMG!!!! Never had oysters this good and the fried shrimp were also good. Will definitely be visiting more often. And many thanks to our shucker, David.
