User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a wonderful school. The teachers are great and make time for the students. The school director is great and easy to talk to. Both my children graduated from this school. We are so glad that we put them here. Everybody knew everybody. The teachers were very helpful and you can talk to them one on one. This is the WORST school on Orlando. The former "Executive Director" was fired for illegal scholarship grants for his football team. Why the FHSAA doesn't investigate AGAIN, and shut it down, I don't know. The only reason this school is still open is because it has over 50% McKay Scholarship students. Your tax dollars are at work! The school does not teach to public school standards. There are many, many special needs students there- many autistic, deaf, etc. They do not have the capabilities to serve them- just to take their McKay Scholarship money. OLA is a the last stop for many LD, handicapped kids who can't make it elsewhere. There are students who are active gang members, as well. Summary: run away, fast.
