You have to pay for what you want and I did. Our stay was great from the moment they greeted me, took my keys, and unloaded my car for me. We had a room with a Savannah view so we got to go to sleep and wake up with a great view of the animals from our balcony window....giraffes, antelope, birds, and a few I cant even name. The room service food was great and we got more than enough food every time. Hassle free shuttle to all of the theme parks. The African themed restaurants at hte lodge were pricey but good, a taste of something different. Huge pool, several hot tubs, an outdoor playground, and a bar. The beds were super comfy. Convient gift shop. And my 2 year old loved the 7:30 parades through the lobby downstairs. I even had to buy him his own instruments. A couple of African employees teach the kids a song and let them go through the lobby parading and dancing for everyone to see. The rooms were very quiet. Despite the amount of people there we never heard anyone. We had a great time and I cant wait to go back.
Do you want a good hotel?: Then stay here!!!
When you walk into the hotel it is gorgeous.
We had a great time. It was fun, to be able to see animals when you woke up. We saw many girrafes!
The pool was very busy, but nice nonetheless. And I would reccomend getting a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and sitting in the jacuzzi, it is very relaxing.
In the morning, you can go to the buffet, which is alright, not the best, and then get on a shuttle to whichever theme park, it is pretty stressfree.
The beds are also very comfy. It was a nice stay. =D
For proce, not impressed: Hotel was o.k. Pool was nice. For the price we paid, I was not impressed. Room was small. Food was expensive. We stayed in hotels outside of Disney that were much nicer and less expensive. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice hotel, but not for the money.
