Terrible customer service after the sale. I had problems registering my new 08 tahoe. No one would return my call. I called 20 times over a week and a half. Only 2 of my calls were returned. At time of purchase, they said I would be receiving a survey to rate the dealership and service. I hope they do send it to me because I will tell them exactly what is wrong with their service. BEWARE, IF YOU BUY AT THIS DEALERSHIP, YOU WILL NOT BE IMPORTANT TO THEM ONCE YOU SIGN THE PAPERS.
Can't trust them to the small stuff.....: 1999 Blazer LT (83,000 miles) washer fluid reservoir was leaking like a new puppy. I asked the service dept to fix the leak. The estimate said no more than $89.95. Yikes! I agreed and signed the estimate. 1.5 hours later I am told the "diagnostics" completed on my Blazer (I did not agree or ask for "diagnostics") indicate the upper and lower ball joints are worn and the control arm bushing needs to be replaced and this tidy work would only take 3 -4 hours, unless they don't have all the required parts in inventory and the cost is only $1,139.00. And oh, yes fixing the leaking reservoir only cost $49.95 plus tax. The reservoir fix required "re-positioning" of the plug and seal at the bottom of the reservoir. NO parts, only labor. ALL they did was plug the plug back into the reservoir - as simple as tightening an oil pan cap.
The "technician" suggested the worn ball joints were dangerous and should be replaced as soon as possible. I paid the bill and left as quickly as possible.
A second opinion and inspection of the ball joints explained that no "diagnostics" can reveal worn ball joints or a broken control arm bushing and that mine were indeed slightly worn and perfectly able to maintain a snug tight and safe alignment. I am thoroughly disgusted. The dealership used inaccurate information, uncalled for and unrequested "diagnostics", and unfounded safety warnings to coerce me into agreeing to have unnecessary and expensive work performed. The dealership charged me an hour and a half of my time and $56.00 to plug the seal back into the washer fluid reservoir. This was a pitiful, no, disgusting example of responsible service. The coup de' grace: my "technician" Jon told me three times to complete the satisfaction questionnaire positively so he would receive good ratings from management. Jon went so far as to complete an example form for me, with all "highly satisfied" ratings. LOL, LOL !
Wonderful Experience: My husband and I bought a used '01 Dodge 2500 4x4 here...great experience...great customer service...honest about the truck...detailed it nicely...worked with us on the price because of minor flaws found...I would recommend Courtesy Chevrolet to anyone looking for a great deal...Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
