Arbor Ridge School

As a newcomer to Orlando, one of our biggest worries were, and always will be, the education of my daughter. We were very afraid of the kind of school she would have to attend and how would she ajust to a new enviroment. I'm happy to report that after we attended Arbor Ridge Elementary our worries were gone! We feel very fortunate to have found the right school, not only as far as education is concern, but also in every other aspect. Arbor Ridge has offered my daughter a home away from home. The teachers are wonderfull human beings who worry and really care about their students, everyone from the cleaning crew to the principal have always treated us with true concern, kidness and plain old fashion respect, this have made my daugther and myself feel good and like we belong. We were extra lucky when she was accepted in their Middle School Magnet program. Small, specialized and dedicated classrooms are exactly what we needed, considering that my daugther has been dignosed with ADD/HD, we are very thankfull to have found a school that understand her needs and responds to them. All teachers have been great in dealing with her and myself, in identifiying her problems and working towards her development in a way that she doesn't feel treaten and/or different. Everyone, teachers and guidance counselor have been very cooperative so that we can use their input in doctors offices and find the best way to help my daughter. THANK YOU ARBOR RIDGE!

Excellent school..: My granddaughter is a first grade student at Arbor Ridge and is thriving. The children do projects that involve the entire family for a better learning experience. I live out of state and I am currently helping with one of my granddaughter's class projects involving learning about all parts of the USA, even different parts of the world. Wonderful for first graders, both educational and very enjoyable for them. I thought that this type of teaching was a thing of the past and I'm happy to see what my granddaughter has already learned and hear the excitement from her about all she is learning now. Few schools make learning fun enough that a child looks forward to what each new day brings, and I am pleased that Arbor Ridge has provided my granddaughter this wonderful experience.
