I call there prior to our trip and spoke with a man who made this place sound wonderful. We were going out for a friend of ours 21st birthday so we wanted to find a good watering hole. The man spoke of a fresh squeezed Screw driver, and they gave away the first drink for anyone who came in and it was there birthday. So we thought it would be a perfect place. We came up on it and it was this small hole in the wall kinda place. I wasn't too worried we've got a few places like that back home and they are wonderful little bars. We stepped in and smoke came out of the bar. We knew that it would be a smoking bar but the ventilation must have been horrible there. My eye's burned from all the smoke for the first minute or two. The bartender asked us all for our ID's which was fine we had expected that. It all went down hill from there. She asked our friend { the birthday girl} what she wanted, haven't really have drank too much before because she was too young she didn't know many of the drinks out there and was a little indecisive about it. The bartender displayed no patients with her and was really rude to her. She offered her one thing and really didn't even give her time to think about it before she starting making it. But she drank it anyway and she did love it. She came around to the rest of us and she displayed the same attitude. She came to me and I think I got the worse treatment of all. I took maybe 30-45 seconds running through drinks in my head, thinking about what I was in the mood for. She says to me and this is a direct quote " Come on I have other people here, make up your mind." First off the bar was half empty. There may have been 12 people in the whole bar 3 or 4 of which where playing pool {not including us 4} and second her tone of voice was all wrong. I told her to come back to me and maybe I'd get something. After the way we were treated we decided to skip out after our friends free drink. That may sound wrong but we didn't feel like sticking around to see how worse we would get treated. Maybe with a different bartender we would have had a better experiance but as it stood, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I love Jonathans! The people are great the staff are wonderful and you will never have a better lemon drop!
