I recently had a meal here because I usually give everyone a second chance but this visit was worst than the first time. The so-called "seared to perfection" burger was over-cooked,greasy,and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for an hour, the fries were also greasy and cold, the "famous" chili was a bland, soupy mess, and the milkshake was sour. The servers either need to be re-trained or replaced as they were slow and had attitudes like they didnt want to be bothered.I noticed the dishwasher that was there on my first visit was gone and thats a shame because my plates had dried food on them, the glasses were spotty, and when I asked for the third time for a fork, the server said they were still being washed and sorted,(it doesnt take 17 min.to do this, which is what I waited for). When I asked to see a Manager about the meal I was told they couldn't be found,(as I was leaving she was out back still smoking). On top of everything else they tried to charge me for food I didnt order and refused to take anything off the bill or at least apologize for the lousey meal.I would like to think that the S@S corporate office has been made aware of these problems.but I dont think so and the only thing keeping this place open is the illusion thats put on t.v..Like the first review said, save your money and go to McDonalds instead.
NEVER AGAIN!!! Mc Donalds serves better food!!!: I will NEVER eat in the restaurant AGAIN!!! We arrived at this location at 8:00pm.
First, when walking up there was something spilled on the walkway where the customers enter and exit the building. That is an EXTREMELY POOR first impression for a customer. I should also point out that the same spill HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED by the time my party left.
After waiting 15 minutes, the manager had to step in and seated us It was all down hill from there. As my party waited for our seat the high-school aged clearisil kid, allegedly a cook was busy flirting with the girls at the counter, certainly NOT doing the job he gets paid minimum wage to do.
After another 15 minutes we got to order our drinks. After yet ANOTHER 15 minutes, which is now 45 minutes after our arrival at the restaurant, our orders were taken by the server. It took all of 30 minutes JUST to get our side orders and another hour before we got dinner During this time, other customers who had arrived after my party had received their dinners before we received our first side orders.
During this ordeal there was no silverware on the table, and it took longer to get the silverware than it did to get the appetizers (first side order). One server was overheard informing another customer that they had run out of silverware. What were the Dishwashers doing? Were any dishwashers even on duty tonight? If there had been any dishwashers working at all my best guess is probably not printable here. They were probably slapping around one-eyed Willie. Certainly there were not doing the job they get paid minimum wage to do. HOW HARD IS IT TO WASH SILVERWARE??? If dishes or silverware is low, that has to be done first. I wouldn't be surprised if their whole kitchen staff isn't "Mentally Challenged" (retarded for the rest of us).
I should aslo mention the Salad that was served my fiance and future mother-in-law must have been left out ALL DAY. The lettuce was wilted and NEITHER of them finished it.
Once our dinners arrived, our supposedly "Double" bacon cheese burgers looked like they were scraped from the grill which brought to mind the old tag line from Clara Peller: "WHERE'S THE BEEF?" All of our hamburgers made my dogs' dinners look appetizing. Instead of using full patties the slacker cook must have broken some in half to cut corners and catch up. All of our hamburgers were the same scrapings of the grill. The onion rings were AWFUL!!!
During our dinner ordeal servers were observed removing and pocketing customer orders from the cooks' line clipboard. Other customers were complaining about unserved orders or drinks. A good case in point is one complaint that was made as were leaving, a customer who had ordered TWO milkshakes received only ONE, and THAT milkshake wan't even what they ordered which they sent back. This means that customer got NOTHING. HOW HARD IS IT TO GET AN ORDER RIGHT??? A monkey could do their jobs better.
The piece-de-resistance was the bill. The dinner total was $30. My fiance wrote a tip of $2.50 for the server. The high-school aged, minimum-wage earning male with one arm in a sling could even get the tip right. He entered $2.80. What do you expect from someone who graduated from a public school, if he even graduated AT ALL?
Where was the Manager during all this? Certainly NOT doing his job. He was seating customers. At no time did he attend to any customers who had complaints and attempt to rectify the problems that were CLEARLY present.
The only good part of the meal were the drinks,. For a grand total of $32.80 the food and service DID NOT meet my expectaions.
The bottom line here is this a great restaurant TO AVOID EATING AT. If I get sick to my stomach AT LEAST MY LAWYER IS ON SPEED DIAL!!!
This restaurant features nothing but POOR FOOD and EVEN WORSE SERVICE. The average customer can get a better meal at Mc Donald's.
