Islands Fish Grill

My son took his fiance to Islands for dinner last night. They both thoroughly enjoyed their meals...very fresh fish! My son is very particular about his food...he said the entire meal was "fantastic". Said the service was perfect as well. Will return.

From the moment I walked thru the door I felt a very warm and friendly atmosphere! Our app.- Roasted garlic & spinach mussels-was the best shellfish dish I have ever had! The Onion Crusted Grouper "OCG" was to die for!..bringingthe texture and flavor of Grouper to a new level!! My non fish eating guest loved the NY strip special this night...Lightly blackened NY strip with Pineapple bordelaise and a bacon wrapped shrimp. The couple that joined us were very pleased with the Wahoo special-crab & herb crust with balsamic glaze..and his wife's vegitarian request..(called ahead)..grilled veg, special spices and herbs& pasta. Love!!!! this place! you won't be disapointed!!

I have dined here before and the fish was great. Not so on my last visit. Usually they are out of the cobia, but not this trip so I ordered the cobia. What a mistake. I know what Cobia is and what fresh cobia tastes like. What was served tasted more like week old mahi mahi, and a bad cut at that. I attempted to say something to the server but she vanished. Super disappointed with the meal!!!!!!
