I went to this restaurant this afternoon for happy hour and it was a great experience. The bar was lively and entertaining and the food was really good, espcially for the happy hour prices. We sat on the patio with beautiful weather, great waitress and good atmosphere. We ended up staying until the late hours in the morning on a Friday. It is one of the better restaurants in the area.

A coworker of mine turned 21 and a few of us decided to go for some drinks after work. The waitress was fabulous she had everything ready and was very attentive. She informed us that her shift would end and another would take over and asked if we would mind if she closed out her shift and of course we agreed. Naturally the party had just begun and we were not nearly done spending our original budget of about $500.00 we quickly slapped together our funds to pay that portion of the bill in cash without even taking the time to see how much we paid. The manager rudely approached the table and asked if our service was ok. We told him yes. His reply suggested that the tip did not reflect good service and told us how much it should have been. Needless to say we did not stay and spent the rest of our money in another establishment. His approach really made us feel unwelcome. It would have been smoother to have called us cheap. Funny thing is we were not trying to be cheap only considerate that the waitress had to clock out. We would have gladly provided a better tip and continued to run up the drink tab if he was a bit more professional and friendly in his approach. Apparently word traveled fast because no one serviced our table after that so we left. Service was great before tip and nonexistent after. Food was great and the first waitress was exceptional but I doubt I would return on his shift.
