It looks so cool inside and who knows an other restaurant with such a cool background story.
The food is delicious ( I really love the cheeseburger^^) and the desserts are just yummy-

I saw a tv show about this restaurant. The host raved about the food and ambiance. Well he got one thing correct. The view and restaurant both look great. The food...eh. My wife and I drove 104 miles from Boca Raton to eat there on our anniversary. I ordered the prime rib which the tv host said was great. Mine was tough and chewy. I've had much better at Outback and LongHorn. I sent it back then ordered the duck instead. It looked good but.....It was so dry it sucked the moisture out of my mouth. My wife got the Panko Encrusted Snapper. It was tasty but overcooked. Even the sour dough bread was tough. I had to saw through it repeatedly with the knife they gave. Once past the crust the interior was fresh and tasty. The best part of the meal was the sauteed spinach and mushrooms. Very good. The waiter was nice and very attentive. I paid over $100 and drove 104 miles on our anniversary for one of the worst meals I've ever eaten.

This restaurant is not rickety, it is historic, read the story of it's history on the menu - it was built from items that drifted onto the shore from ship wrecks. This is a Vero Beach landmark and we have traveled from Orlando (almost two hours away) for over 30 years just to eat at this amazing restaurant!! BEST VIEWS & BEST FOOD!! From the complimentary bleu cheese spread to the homemade dill salad dressing, from the hot fresh baked bread to the most amazing fresh seafood ever. The coquilles is just amazing, but have NEVER had a bad meal!!! Expect long waits during the 'season'.
